What's included in a Package?

Our Packages are simply a list of materials needed to build the Package using traditional building practices and the Michigan Building Code. The materials have been adjusted through years of selling these Packages to be as close as possible with the necessary materials. That said, there are many different ways to build things. Some people will be short on material while others will have extra. In addition, the snow load requirement for the building site can change the amount of materials required. Before starting a Building Package, we suggest sitting down with your Builder to review the list of materials. We can add or subtract any items that you choose to change, and we will adjust the price accordingly.  Special Order items, in particular, must be reviewed thoroughly to ensure they'll be exactly what you want. Most Special Order items we sell are not returnable per the policies of our Manufacturers and Wholesalers. 

 

What if I need more materials? 

Additional materials will be sold to the customer at the current retail price.

What if I have extra materials or change my mind on something?

Any stock inventory purchased from us may be returned in good condition for a full refund of the price the customer paid. A copy of the Invoice is required to return materials. Prices fluctuate, and we want to be certain you receive the entire amount you originally paid for each returned item.

What happens if materials get dirty or damaged and I want to return them?

Once materials have been picked up or delivered to a job site, it is the customer's responsibility to keep those materials clean and dry. Dirty, wet or damaged materials (including nail holes) are not returnable. In some cases, Special Order items may be returnable with a re-stocking fee deducted per Manufacturer or Wholesaler policy. However, most Special Order items are not returnable.

What if I want my own design?

We offer a design service (at the Hale location only at this time).  We take your ideas and turn them into plans for your new dream home. The designs can be sent electronically for review and approval. If you already have your own plans, we will be glad to sell you whatever materials you need to complete your project.
