Midwest Building Suppliers Association

Bernard Building Center and its employees belong to the Midwest Building Suppliers Association to assist its mission to unite, represent, train, and lead Independent Lumber and Building Material Dealers doing business in Indiana and Michigan. Bernard Building Center is currently actively involved in the MBSA and has had two generations of Bernard Building Center’s owners be on the Board of Directors.

 

Mid-Northern Michigan Home Builders Association

 

The Mid-Northern Michigan Home Builders Association is an organization of home builders and the allied trades of the building industry in Alcona, Iosco, Ogemaw and Oscoda counties.  The HBA is affiliated with and subscribes to the principles and policies of the National Association of Home Builders.

​

Members of the Home Builders Association have pledged themselves to a strict Code of Ethics and maintain high standards of quality and improved methods to the end, that every home purchaser may receive the greatest value possible for every dollar spent.

​

Leaders of the organization devote their time and effort locally, statewide and nationally, striving to advance the industry; studying the latest methods of efficient and economical home construction; attempting always to enable more citizens in Alcona, Iosco, Ogemaw and Oscoda counties to purchase new homes at the lowest possible costs.

​

All members must conform to the licensing requirements to maintain their membership in good standing in the Mid-Northern Michigan Home Builders Association.  The organization also maintains close liaison with government agencies to act in the interest of the home builder and the home buying public in national and local legislation.
